Thermal design frontiers of nano-assembled phase change materials for heat storage

چکیده

The present paper briefly reviews the development progress of solid-liquid phase change materials, particularly nano-porous shape-stabilized materials. We outline designs and syntheses heat storage functional materials thermophysical mechanism loading, crystallization, thermal transport in nano-confined space. Besides, remarkable methods to enhance release performance heterogeneous are included. However, at present, single-size porous cannot satisfy requirements for high storage/release rate great energy density simultaneously. Based on this, novel hierarchical frameworks explored overcome these obstacles. For this purpose, some scientific problems, opportunities, challenges summarized end paper.
